A beautifully restored holiday home with modern comforts yet with many of original features, including the four old palm trees which give shade at the front of the house.

 This completely renovated original Canarian house is on the edge of the small vilage of Tijarafe on the west of the island of La Palma.
Casa Mar y Luna is 600M above sea level and is suitable for 1 to 3 adults and 1 child up to 3 years.

From the house you have views over the hillside, the village, up to the mountains and down to the ocean. On the lower terrace is an avocado trees. Several walking routes begin near the house. From Mar y Luna you can walk to the village to do your shopping or to drink a glas of wine and enjoy some tapas on the terrace of the Kiosco.

In the living room is sofa (for a third person), wicker chairs and dining table with chairs.
The open kitchen has a 4 hob gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, juice extractor and kitchen utensils.

bedroom for 2 people   bathroom with bath and washing machine   In the bedroom are two single beds, a bedside cabinet and a wardrobe.
The bathroom has a bath, wash basin, WC, bidet, cupboard, hairdryer and washing machine.

 
The area.
Mar y Luna is about 70 minutes drive from the airport.
It is 5 minutes walk to Tijarafe where there is a bank, dispensing chemist, bars and shops.
The nearest sandy beaches are in Tazacorte (25 min. drive) and Puerto Naos (35 min. drive) where there are also shops and small supermarkets. Los Llanos is the closest town with it's old streets and squares, shops and supermarkets, and the popular meeting place Plaza de España, and is about 30 minutes drive.
Restaurants can be found in Tazacorte, Los Llanos and Puntagorda. The Kiosco in the village serves local wine and good tapas.
The Tijarafe area is crisscrossed with marked walking-paths including a route to the viewpoint Torre del Time, where there is a breathtaking view over the west side of the island and the Valle de Aridane.
